Analysis

Squiz offers a range of analysis services to help you determine your requirements and plan your CMS implementation.

Analysis Services

This includes understanding:

  • business objectives and any system integration requirements
  • user needs
  • information architecture and interaction design
  • functional specifications.

User Analysis

Understanding your users is an essential part of user-centred design - a design philosophy and process in which the needs, wants, and limitations of the end user of an interface are given extensive attention at each stage of the design process.

User analysis involves collecting and reviewing information about your current and prospective site and CMS users, and their goals and tasks in using your system and website/s.

Information Architecture

Squiz works with your key stakeholders to define your users' information requirements  and how your site will be structured to meet their needs.

Website Requirements Analysis

Squiz work with your key stakeholders to define the functionality for your site and gather enough information to prepare a Functional Specification. Examples of areas to be specified include:

  • the home page layout and its components
  • landing page and section head page layouts and their components
  • standard inside page layouts and their components
  • layout and functionality of additional components and pages such as Calendars, Listings, Search pages
  • functionality associated with integrating to external systems.

Usability Testing

Usability testing is recommended at key stages of your project. This is in line with both the user-centred design philosophy and practical experience that starting usability testing early is really helpful in identify potential usability problems when they are easy to fix, and improving the end product.
