Squiz CMS 101

Squiz CMS Fundamentals will teach users the basics of how to use the Administration Interface of Squiz CMS.

This one-day course will focus on how to perform fundamental, day-to-day tasks such as creating pages and basic content, it also introduces more complex features of Squiz CMS such as workflow, track changes and versioning.

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Create pages and files
  • Add basic content to a page
  • Insert links and images
  • Insert images, movies and image galleries into pages
  • Enable track changes and approve and reject changes
  • Add metadata
  • Use the Preview, Edit, Settings and Versioning modes
  • Understand the normal publishing process
  • Understand the workflow approval process
  • Use the help desk

Pre-Requisites

To get the most out of this course, you should have:

  • An understanding of Internet fundamentals
  • Some experience in managing or updating a website.

This course runs for one (1) day (9:00am - 5:00pm, including assessment)
